Officials are advising businesses of a scam that has been reported involving the upcoming Cheshire Fall Festival.
CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire-Prospect Regional Chamber of Commerce is advising businesses of a scam that has been reported involving the upcoming Cheshire Fall Festival.
“This is a very important message,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “We do not have any openings left for vendors. People are reaching out to businesses saying it’s us and asking for cash payment for a spot. This is a scam! Please do not send anyone cash for a Fall Festival spot!”
