Former Cheshire Standout Elected to CT Field Hockey Hall of Fame

She and eight other individuals will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sunday, Sept. 16.

CHESHIRE, CT — A former field hockey standout at Cheshire High School will join eight other honorees as members of the Class of 2018 of the Connecticut Field Hockey Hall of Fame.

Jennifer Martha McCallum, a 2002 Cheshire graduate, is being inducted as a high school player. The two-time All-State selection led the Rams to the Class L state championship in 2000, capturing tournament Most Valuable Player honors. She earned numerous accolades in both athletics and academics during her high school career before playing four years of college field hockey, first at the University of New Hampshire, then Quinnipiac University. Today, she resides in Edinburgh, Scotland.
