Former Furniture Barn Building Sells For $1.2M In Cheshire

A digital marketing company is moving its headquarters into the former home of the retailer, which closed in 2019 after 52 years in business

CHESHIRE, CT — The former home of Furniture Barn on West Main Street in Cheshire has been sold to a Southington-based digital marketing company for $1.2 million, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Rebel Interactive Group plans to move its headquarters into its new home at 535 West Main St. in Cheshire in early spring.

The company is renovating the 24,700-square-foot space to include a podcasting studio and video production facility along with some rental space that could be used by local groups, according to the Register.

A Cheshire official told the Register that Rebel Interactive’s move could be “transformative” for businesses in the area.
