Garage Fire Extinguished In Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — Crews extinguished a large fire that destroyed a detached garage over the weekend in Cheshire.

Crews responded to Cornwall Avenue on Sunday afternoon on the report of a fire in the garage, according to officials.

“Engine 4 arrived to find a large detached garage/ workshop well involved in fire,” officials wrote in a post on the Cheshire Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page. “Crews utilized 3 hose lines to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
