CHESHIRE, CT — A gas leak has closed a portion of South Meriden Road in Cheshire. South Meriden Road is closed between Cheshire Street and Oregon Road due to a gas main break, according to Cheshire Police.
Crews are on the scene and police are advising motorists to seek alternate routes. Police also said a prolonged closure is possible.
