Lots of Reasons to Get Out!
It's nearly the weeend and you're gearing up for some fun! Here's some ideas to make that happen.

1. Connecticut Whale vs. Hershey Bears
Where/When: XL Center, Hartford, Friday at 7pm.
Why Go: If you are a hockey fan, this is a good cheap way to see future NHL stars for the first time.
Price: Tickets start at $7 on game day and go as low as $12 for presale.
2. Live Music with Zero Dollar Trio and The Erasmus Quintet
Where/When: Saturday 6-9pm at The Funky Monkey Cafe, Cheshire.
Why Go: If you want to hear some improvisational jazz or expand your musical taste, this is the place to do it.
Price: Donations accepted.
3. Parade Day with Tipperary Knights
Where/When: Toads Place, New Haven, Sunday at 3pm.
Why Go: To enjoy St. Patrick’s Day a few day early with corned beef sandwiches, green beer, and traditional Irish music. Doors open at 2pm.
Price: $5
4. Movie Matinee, The Champ
Where/When: Cheshire Library, Tuesday March 15th at 1pm.
Why Go: To see the original version of one of the greatest sports movies ever made, starring Jackie Cooper and Wallace Beery. Run time is 1 hour, 27 minutes. No registration is required.
Price: Free.
