Japanese Anime, Holiday Music and a Marathon of Movie Classics

Check out these upcoming activities in Cheshire. There's something for teens and adults – and most of them are free!

On Friday, go to the Mary Baldwin room at the Cheshire Public Library to learn more about the Anime Club. From 3 to 4:30 p.m. the Anime Club will be holding their monthly meeting to discuss "Manga,” view some of the latest Anime releases, and enjoy Japanese cuisine such as Ramune
and Pocky. No registration is required.

Looking to listen to some holiday music? Then head on over to the Palace Theater located at 100 E. Main St. in Waterbury for "Christmas at the Palace.” Waterbury Chorale and Music Director Joseph J. Jacovino, Jr. will lead his orchestra in an arrangement of classic holiday songs. Tickets range from $25 to $45. For more information, visit www.palacetheaterct.org

Finally, go to the Yellow House, 554 S. Main St., Cheshire on Friday, December 9th for a holiday movie marathon. Enjoy watching classic movies from the winter holiday season along with free hot chocolate. Open and fee to all students in grades 9-12.
