IRISH TENOR ANTHONY KEARNS TO PERFORM AT NELSON HALL GALA

CHESHIRE, Connecticut —Nelson Hall of Cheshire announces that Anthony Kearns, Ireland’s Finest Tenor and founding member of the Irish Tenors, will be the highlight of a Gala event on Saturday, March 25, 2017. The Gala is Nelson Hall’s yearly opportunity to showcase and thank corporate sponsors and to encourage local community support of the performing arts program.

Mr. Kearns is recognized around the globe for over a decade of extraordinary collaborative work with the PBS super-group, The Irish Tenors, with whom he still tours annually. Their CDs have gone Gold, Platinum, and Double Platinum. A frequent performer in the nation’s most prestigious venues from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, Anthony is a classically trained tenor with the incredible ability to sing what audiences love to hear.

In addition to his continued work with The Irish Tenors, Anthony Kearns has a thriving solo concert career and is in increasing demand on international opera stages. As the headliner of the Gala affair on March 25, Mr. Kearns will perform a full-length concert from his dynamic repertoire, spanning from Ireland to Broadway, Lanza to McCormack, Viennese romance to Italian classics, the inspirational to the spiritual, in a concert you will not soon forget.

The Nelson Hall Gala begins at 6:00PM with a private VIP reception with Anthony Kearns, for sponsors and individual donors of $100 or more, which will feature an elegant hors d’ouevres buffet, passed entrée items, carving station, and desserts. Gala Concert Supporters ($50) will enjoy admission to the concert at 7:30pm. Attire is black tie optional.
