Local Webster Banker Promoted to Senior Vice President

Webster Bank, a leading regional bank serving businesses and consumers from Westchester County, N.Y. to Boston, Mass., announced today the promotion of Alex Bequary to senior vice president, business banking as a result of his significant contributions, demonstrated leadership, and increased responsibilities.

Bequary joined Webster eight years ago and leads business banking in the Waterbury, Conn., region.

Bequary is a resident of Prospect, Conn.  He has served on various boards in Waterbury over the years including the Chamber of Commerce and Neighborhood Housing of Waterbury.  He is also an active fund raiser for many local charities.
