Man on Bike Grabs Female Jogger on the Buttocks: Cheshire Police

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.

CHESHIRE, CT — Cheshire Police are investigating an incident in which a male riding a bicycle grabbed a female jogger on the buttocks while she was on the Linear Trail in the area of North Brooksvale Road.

Police said the incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 2.

The female resident reported to police that she was jogging on the trail when a male riding a bicycle approached her from behind. The male slowed to a stop beside her and grabbed her on the buttocks in an aggressive manner before riding away on his bicycle, police said in a press release.

The woman continued to run and located a Cheshire Police officer who was on patrol in the Lock 12 Historical Park.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 16 and 18 wearing shorts and a white T-shirt.

A second police officer on a bicycle was in the area and searched the trail for the suspect, but was unable to locate anyone matching the description, police said.

Police are continuing to investigate and anyone with information is asked to contact the Cheshire Police Department at 203-271-5500.
