Power Restored After Transformer Issue In Cheshire: Town Manager

UPDATE: The outage affecting the center of Cheshire has been restored by Eversource, Town Manager Sean Kimball said in an update.

There were six customers without power as of 12 noon, according to Kimball.

(Original post) CHESHIRE, CT — More than 1,300 residents are without power in Cheshire, according to Town Manager Sean Kimball.

Kimball wrote in a post on Twitter that Eversource is reporting that a transformer/wire issue is causing an outage in the center of town.

“Currently 1,348 customers without power,” Kimball wrote. “Three crews are on scene, restoration time will be available once evaluation is complete.”
