New Charging Site Approved for Electric Vehicles in Cheshire
The charging station will join a few others in town.
CHESHIRE, CT - The local Big Y supermarket parking lot will soon hold an electric vehicle charging station, following unanimous approval Monday night by the Cheshire Planning and Zoning Commission.
The new site on South Main Street, which will be open for public use, will join a few other charging stations in town, reports the Record-Journal.
Two 32-amp connectors will be available to charge a pair of vehicles, and charging will be for free, according to Tim Grammo of Windsor Locks-based PG Lodola & Sons, which will install the station.
