New Principal Hired In Cheshire

The Board of Education recently announced the hiring.

CHESHIRE, CT — A former Ansonia teacher of the year has been named the new principal of Doolittle Elementary School in Cheshire, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Amy O’Brien, a Cheshire resident, was recently hired for the position, which opened when Russ Hinckley returned to teaching. O’Brien, who was named teacher of the year in 2003, is currently the principal of Mead School in Ansonia, according to the Record-Journal.
