The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Having a balance of great neighborhoods, schools, and as well as a strong business community.
Making objective decisions for the betterment of our town.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
My ability to work with and strengthen our community by interpreting regulations using a common sense approach. Each situation is different and needs a person with experience to make good judgements in sometimes tough circumstances.
Accomplishments:
Regulations are there as a baseline, but looking at individual situations might call for exceptions, something I am used to doing on a regular basis in my field of work. I have over the past four years in this role been able to be fair and objective in decision making, helping continue people's trust and transparency for our town boards and commissions.
Other issues:
Living within our means and investing in our future is key for Cheshire's prosperity.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
My educational background is:
BS in Biology, Susquehanna University
MS in Occupational Health and Safety Management / Industrial Hygiene, University of New Haven.
Outside of work, and I am the Vice President for the FCRTTA (Farmington Canal Greenway) and on the Cheshire Sustainability committee for Sustainable CT.
