Obituary: Carol A. Brown Russo, 74, Of Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Carol A. Brown Russo, 74, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Milford Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to Thomas J. Russo.

Carol was born in New Haven on November 25, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Russell H. Brown, Sr. and Miriam Shinn Brown.

She was a hairdresser for many years, enjoyed reading, loved to travel, but most of all, Carol loved being with her family and friends who she loved unconditionally.

Mother of Stacy L. Eastman. Sister of Gloria Jean Cuming (Anthony) and Russell H. Brown, Jr. (Marie). Aunt of Bobby DiNicola, Russell H. Brown III (Lucie), Michael Brown (Melissa) and Holly Lewis (Al). Also survived by four great-nieces, three great-nephews and her loving companion, her dog Cooper. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gordon Hutchinson and to Carol’s dear friend Denise Mancuso for all the comfort and care they so heartfully provided.

Private services have been entrusted to The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
