Obituary: Domenick John Clemente, 94, of Cheshire
Domenick, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, worked as a mason for many years and had a passion for singing.

CHESHIRE, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) Domenick John Clemente, 94, of Cheshire, husband of the late Mary (Papale) Clemente, passed away December 5, 2020 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
He was born in New Haven on May 6, 1926, a son of the late Domenico and Nunziata (Furrelli) Clemente.
He worked as a mason for many years until retiring.

In addition to visiting family and friends, Domenick's passion was singing.
All it took was one Frank Sinatra song for him to entertain an entire room.

He will be most remembered for his uplifting and charming voice.
Domenick is survived by his sons, Domenick P. Clemente of Cheshire and Albert R. Clemente and his wife, Michelle, of Northford; his daughter, Nancy D. Torello and her husband, Anthony, of Florida; his daughter-in-law, Katherine Clemente Blachone and her husband, Bruce, of Durham; his grandchildren, Marcie Vazquez and her husband, Robert, of Cheshire, Cariann Clemente and her partner, Gary Simmons, of Ellington, Brian Torello and his wife, Charlene, of Florida, Mickey Torello of Florida, Jean A. Mariani and her husband, Michael, of New York, Michael Clemente and his wife, Laura, of New York; his great-grandchildren, Robert, and his wife, Cerina, Alexandra, Paul, Kaylee, Dylan, Ryan, Jayden, Teagan, Michael, Nicholas, and Daniel; his two sisters, Angelina Midolo of Hamden and Elizabeth Midolo of East Haven; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Phillip J. Clemente, his daughter-in-law, Carol J. Clemente and his six siblings.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and for the safety of family and friends, graveside services are private.
