Obituary: Frederick ‘Fred’ Turner, 63, Of Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Frederick “Fred” Turner, 63, of Cheshire, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Complete Care at Meriden Center. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Williams) Turner who passed away in 2019.

Fred was born July 1, 1959, in Hartford, the son of the late Marvin and Nancy (Parker) Turner. A longtime resident of Cheshire, he was the Sexton at the First Congregational Church. Fred enjoyed watching sports from football to baseball with his favorite being UCONN Women’s Basketball.

Fred is survived by his children Jeffrey Turner and his wife Megan of Wolcott, Stephanie Morgigno and her husband Paul of Cheshire; his sister Donna Aston and her husband Peter; and his grandchildren MacKenzie, Emily, and, Hailey. In addition to his wife and his parents, Fred is also predeceased by his sister Marsha Wheeler.
