Obituary: Grace Anne (Campbell) (Nesbit) Tait, 87, of Cheshire
Anne, truly devoted to her family, was a member of the First Congregational Church. She also served on boards in the Cheshire School System.

CHESHIRE, CT - (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home) Grace Anne (Campbell) (Nesbit) Tait, 87, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at Mid-State Medical Center.
She was the wife of the late Richard C. Nesbit and her late second husband, Lindsay Tait. She was a resident at Elim Park Place Independent Living.
Anne was born September 20, 1933 in New Haven, CT the daughter of the late Matthew and Grace (Manzie) Campbell and spent her childhood in New Haven.

She was a graduate of Hillhouse High School. She was a long time Cheshire resident where she was a member of the First Congregational Church of Cheshire.
Anne was on many Boards at the Church and in the Cheshire School System. Her most important devotion was her children, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.

She loved going to the Jersey shore to be with her daughter and her family and in the winter spending time in Delray Beach with her son and daughter-in-law.
Anne loved to knit, read, and lay by the pool.
Anne is survived by her children; Richard C. Nesbit and his wife Candy of Cheshire, Beth Anne Barnes and her husband Robert K. of Prospect, John M. Nesbit and his wife Amy of Delray Beach, FL, Nancy J. Atnes and her husband Brian of Brielle, NJ; her grandchildren Taylor (Cam) Burnett, George (Amanda) and Matthew Nesbit, Justin, Peyton and Gavin Atnes; as well as her great grandchildren Gavin and Mackenzie Nesbit and James Burnett.
She leaves a niece, a sister-in-law and cousins.
Arrangements – A private funeral service and burial are being held for the family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
