Obituary: Milda S. Feehan, 95, Of Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): On Thursday, December 29, 2022, Milda Buinickas Feehan, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at age 95.

Born to Alexander Buinickas and Michelina Yotka of New Britain, Connecticut, Milda resided in Cheshire, CT for 65 years.

An avid reader, Milda earned her Bachelor's Degree at CCSU and spent many years as a high school teacher in Wallingford. She was active in many community organizations and enjoyed playing cards and organizing activities at the Senior Center and with the Red Hats.

MIlda was best known for her engaging smile, charming personality and generosity. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and reading a good book at the beach.

Milda was predeceased by her loving husband Albert Feehan and her brother Donald Buinickas, and she leaves behind her sons Gary Anderson and his wife Susan of Trumbull, CT, Bob Anderson of Easton, CT, five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter along with many stepchildren.

A private ceremony with her immediate family will be held and in lieu of flowers, the family has asked those that are able to make a donation to protect the children of Ukraine at unicefusa.org.
