Obituary: Rhonda A. (Dunn) Kerns, 71

CHESHIRE, CT — (Contributed): Rhonda A. (Dunn) Kerns, 71, passed away peacefully in Florida on April 16, 2022.

Rhonda leaves behind her husband, Ray Kerns; her beloved children, Dawn Giusto (Anthony) and Bethany Bradley (Jay); her eight grandchildren, David Vess, Brianna Justice, Haley Vess, Kyle Justice, Cameron Giusto, Shyanne Bradley, Caitlin Bradley & RJ Bradley.

Rhonda was born in Waterbury on June 21, 1950, to the late Raymond and Marie (Mancini) Dunn. She joins her predeceased brother Raymond Dunn III and is survived by a large extended family.

Rhonda spent her career working in healthcare as a registered nurse. Upon retirement, she relocated to Florida and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Rhonda had a love for Disney. She loved visiting there with friends and family. She also loved spending time with her dogs, Gabby and Bodie.

Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing bingo, going for long walks, and spending time by the pool.

Her dedication to family and friends, generosity, and genuine love will always be honored by those blessed enough to know her.

The family would like to thank her care team at AdventHealth Celebration Hospital and the caretakers with the AdventHealth Hospice Team.

Arrangements – A celebration of life gathering will be held on June 4, 2022, at Wallingford Country Club at 5:00pm – 195 Long Hill Rd. Wallingford, CT 06492. Friends and family are welcome to pay respects and to join us for dinner to celebrate Rhonda’s life.
