Obituary: Timothy J. McEvoy, 67, Of Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Timothy J. McEvoy, 67, of Cheshire, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Hartford Hospital.

Tim was born December 30, 1955, in Waterbury, the son of James and the late Alice (Duran) McEvoy. He was raised in Wolcott and Cheshire and graduated from Holy Cross High School and St. Michael’s College in VT.

A longtime Cheshire resident, he had worked for various companies in the information technology and manufacturing fields and had previously resided in Westchester County NY.

Besides his father, Tim is survived by his children Conor and Tyler McEvoy; his brother Dr. James McEvoy; his sister Mary Lynn Collins; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Arrangement – Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and proceed to St. Thomas Becket Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
