Owner's 'Health Concerns' Cause Popular Cheshire Eatery To Temporarily Close
The beloved eatery will close temporarily as the owner deals with "health concerns."
CHESHIRE, CT — The popular Shef's Bagels will be taking some time off as the owner deals with some health concerns, according to a social media post.
In a note on their Facebook page, the business said it will be closed from Feb. 14 until Tuesday, Feb. 24.
"Unfortunately, this break wasn’t planned and not something that we wanted to do, especially after having to close due to the problem with the oven, but recently Shef has been dealing with some health concerns and it has been recommended to him that he take some time off to recover," the business posted.

"We are hoping to be back on 2/24, but as most people know, when dealing with health concerns, sometimes things don’t go as planned. So we will do our very best to stick to that return date but will keep everyone updated if anything changes. Thank you, as always, for understanding that as a small business sometimes we have no choice but to close on short notice or make last minute changes. We will forever be grateful for ALL of your support as always, but especially during these times," the business shared.
The popular bagel place is located at 1040 South Main St. It has nearly 4,000 followers on Facebook.
