Part Of Linear Trail In Cheshire To Be Closed For Cleanup

CHESHIRE, CT — Sections of the Linear Trail in Cheshire will be closed beginning Monday, Aug. 31 to remove trees and limbs that pose a hazard to trail users, officials announced Friday.

“Signs will be posted, and police officers will be on site to ensure the safety of the public,” officials wrote in a post on social media. “This cleanup is expected to take a week to complete. We appreciate your patience.”
