Woman, 83, Struck By School Bus In Cheshire: Police
The pedestrian was hospitalized on Friday afternoon, according to police.

CHESHIRE, CT — An 83-year-old female pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a school bus Friday afternoon in Cheshire, according to police. The accident occurred at the intersection of West Main Street and Cherry Street at about 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 27.
Police said the woman was taken to an area hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
The Cheshire Police Department Traffic Division responded to the scene and is investigating the accident.

The road was briefly closed during the investigation, but has since reopened, according to Lt. Jeffrey Sutherland.
