Pipe Burst Damages Offices at Cheshire Town Hall

Several offices were damaged when a pipe burst on Sunday night.

CHESHIRE, CT — Several first-floor offices were damaged when a pipe burst in Cheshire Town Hall on Sunday night, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports that the human services department moved to a second-floor office as a result of the damage, the full extent of which was still being determined.

Officials told the Record-Journal that the damage could have been worse had Town Clerk Laura Brennan not discovered the leak when she stopped by on Sunday night to bring supplies to her office for the next day.
