Police Charge Man with DUI, Driving the Wrong Way on I-84 in Cheshire

The man crashed into a guardrail late Sunday night.

State police have charged a New York man for driving the wrong way on I-84 in Cheshire while under the influence Sunday night, according to NBC Connecticut.

NBC reports that Kevin Schuttak, 45, of Binghamton, New York, was arrested after police say he drove west on the eastbound side of I-84 for about 10 miles before hitting a guardrail.

He was stopped by police at about 11:08 p.m. near the Exit 25 onramp, according to NBC.
