Popular Bakery Leaving Cheshire For New Location

CHESHIRE, CT — A popular Cheshire bakery is moving to a larger location in North Haven, the owner announced Friday.

Amy Cassesse announced in a post on Facebook that Amy Cakes LLC is moving from its location on South Main Street in Cheshire to 55 State Street in North Haven later this year.

“We have grown out of our space in Cheshire and have an amazing opportunity in North Haven!!” Cassesse wrote in the post. “We are so excited to be closer to our vendors and loyal customers!! Easy access from both highways. We can’t wait!!”

The moving date is expected to be in November, according to Cassesse.

Amy Cakes LLC is an award-winning cake shop and full-service bakery.

“At Amy Cakes LLC, we believe that baking is an art. I started baking together in my home kitchen in 1993 for fun,” according to a post on the bakery’s website. “I left my job as a Branch Manager to pursue my love of baking. I opened my 1st store front in 2020 in Wallingford and found myself looking for a larger location in 2024. We moved to Cheshire in November of 2024. We are vendors for some of the top wedding venues in CT and decorate over 125 weddings every season. Come experience the love and passion that goes into every bite at Amy Cakes LLC.”
