CHESHIRE, CT — A portion of Dickerman Road in Cheshire will be closed to all traffic due to a construction-related project beginning Monday, Feb. 7, police recently announced.

Police said Dickerman Road will be closed on the south side at the intersection with West Johnson Avenue.

On the north side, Dickerman Road will be closed just south of the Southington town line.

The road will be closed on each end with concrete barriers, flashing lights, and signs to alert motorists, according to police.

Police said alternate routes include using Peck Lane or Highland Avenue (Route 10).
