Community Corner

Silk'n Sounds

Silk’n Sounds was founded in 1998 and chartered as a chapter of Harmony, Inc., in 1999. They have been entertaining Connecticut audiences for over ten years.

A dynamic group of women of all ages, from all walks of life and communities throughout New Haven County, Silk’n Sounds boasts nearly 40 members tied together by a common thread – a love of music. More than 100 women have enjoyed membership in Silk’n Sounds since its inception

They believe a cappella harmony in the barbershop style is one of the
most exciting and challenging art forms in the world, providing endless
opportunities for continuing musical development.

This concert is free and open to the public. It was funded by the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library.
