St. Bridget's School Collects 1,573 LBs For Cheshire Food Pantry
Eighth grade students held their annual Stuff-a-Bus fundraiser.

Grade Eight students at St. Bridget School located in Cheshire, held their annual Stuff-a-Bus fundraiser to collect non-perishable food and household items to be given to the Cheshire Food Pantry. This year, the students, staff and parishioners of Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish donated 1,573lbs of items, up from last year’s 1,216lbs. Items were delivered to the food pantry and will be distributed to community members in need.

This event is completely organized by Grade Eight students and their two teachers, Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Ms. Carroll, and continues to be an important community ministry project for all St. Bridget students. Our principal, Dr. Nancy Testa, shared that she is beyond elated with the generous support of the annual collection and is grateful to all the students, families and parishioners who contributed to support the community.
