Storm Debris Drop Off Announced In Cheshire
Cheshire residents can drop off debris from Saturday's storm, in which a tornado was confirmed to touch down, over the next few weeks.
CHESHIRE, CT — In the wake of Saturday’s storm, in which a tornado was confirmed to have touched down in Cheshire, the town is opening the old transfer station at 1304 Waterbury Rd. for storm debris drop-off for the next few weeks, officials announced.
The drop-off will take place at the following times:
Week of November 15:

Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Monday through Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Officials also announced the following guidelines for the drop-off:
Must be a Cheshire resident. No landscapers, tree services, or other commercial companies.
Brush and leaves only. No building materials or other debris.
