‘Strong Odor’ Briefly Evacuates School In Cheshire
Students have returned to the building, according to officials.
CHESHIRE, CT — Dodd Middle School in Cheshire was briefly evacuated due to a strong gas odor on Wednesday morning, according to officials. The strong odor was emanating from the south side of the building.
The Cheshire Fire Department responded and gave the “all clear” to re-enter the building, officials said in an update on Twitter just before 9 a.m. The school is continuing on a modified advisory schedule for the rest of the day.
