Survive The Holidays: $1 Long Island Iced Teas At Applebee's

CHESHIRE, CT - You read that right: It's 2017 but you can still buy an alcoholic beverage for a dollar. Applebee's is offering its Long Island Iced Tea, a.k.a. Dollar L.I.T., all day every day. That means no minimum purchase and no hour restrictions. So you might want to take a break from those holiday crowds and pop in for a quick drink.

"The Dollar L.I.T. is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season," Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee's, said in a statement.

The cocktail is a blend of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec and sweet and sour mix with a splash of cola.
