An investigation was launched after a video showing the encounter with the juvenile student and Pfaff, as he pulled a chair out from under the student causing him to fall, police said. He was released on a PTA for court arraignment.

Pfaff, who was fired, has apologized and said a student with behavioral problems, repeatedly cursed at him and refused to move on several occasions, which led to the chair incident, NBC CT reports.
“I feel bad. I feel really, really bad about everything that has happened,” Pfaff said via NBC CT after the incident.
