Ten Athletes Commit to Play College Sports

Cheshire Academy student athletes participated in National Signing Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11 with 10 baseball and basketball players either signing letters of intent or committing to college teams.

Cheshire Academy students who will play basketball at the college level are:

1. Ray Jerome of Latham, NY – University of Pennsylvania

2. Elijah Pemberton of Yonkers, NY – Hofstra University

3. Clayton Le Sann of Geneva, Switzerland– College of the Holy Cross

4. Jose Martinez of West Springfield, Mass. – University of San Diego

5. Tom Huerter of Clifton Park, NY – Siena College

Cheshire Academy students who will play baseball at the college level are:

1. Michael “Cody” Pasic of Cotuit, Mass. – University of Maine

2. David Stiehl of Manchester, Conn. – Northeastern University

3. Austen Michel of South Hamilton, Mass. – Dartmouth College

4. Rich Gilbride of Beverly, Mass. – Siena College

5. Ted Leathersich of Beverly, Mass. – Trinity College
