There's never a bad time to mention the importance of avoiding distracted driving. Given the hands-free options now available to us it's hard to fathom just how many people you see behind the wheel talking on the phone or texting while driving. While it isn't just young drivers that are guilty, it's important to have the conversation with your son or daughter just how dangerous talking on the phone or texting and driving can be.
Avoid distracted driving at all costs! If you or you child is lucky enough to avoid causing an accident there is still the risk of getting a ticket. Even worse, you will not only have to pay the ticket, but you could also see your car insurance premium go up. It can be hard to avoid accidents and tickets, but when it comes to texting and driving it's pretty simple. Stay safe!
