This is an educational seminar about the benefits of therapeutic riding. Cognitive/psychosocial benefits are being presented by Dr. Rebecca Cohen, Psy. D and Jody Rowell, LCSW. 11-1:00 at TRC. Physical benefits are being presented by Dr. Donna Latella, OT, Hippotherapist and Professor at Quinnipiac University. 2:00-4:00. TPF.Cost is $50/participant for the day.
This is an excellent opportunity for volunteers to fine tune their skills and understand the why behind many of the components of a TR class. Parents can gain a better understanding how TR can help their child in many aspects of their daily life.
