On October 5, The "Sunshine Riders" will be hosting their annual motorcycle ride and family day. This event will feature a scenic ride beginning in Cheshire, CT. and touring Connecticut's vista's, arriving at Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury to enjoy a luncheon with family and friends.There will be food, music and raffles. Admission for the motorcycle ride is $25.00 for riders and $15.00 for passengers.
This ride is unique in that the sunshine kids are able to be a passenger in an adventure they otherwise would never experience.
The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, the foundation is committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for children receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
