Trailer, Boy Scout Troop’s Camping Gear Stolen In Cheshire
A trailer containing thousands of dollars' worth of camping equipment belonging to a local Boy Scout troop was stolen out of driveway.

CHESHIRE, CT — Police are investigating after a trailer full of thousands of dollars’ worth of camping equipment belonging to a local Boy Scout troop was stolen out of a driveway in Cheshire, according to multiple reports.
NBC Connecticut reports leaders of Boy Scout Troop 198 in Cheshire are scrambling on what to do next as its next camping trip is in six weeks.
The white trailer, which was stolen from a troop member’s driveway on Sunday night, contained gear the troop has accumulated over the years, including some “irreplaceable” items, according to WFSB 3.
