TV News Station Hires Reporter Who Is No Stranger To CT
The new hire has extensive roots in Connecticut and just started her new job this week.

CONNECTICUT, CT — For Ashley Afonso dreams do come true. The Connecticut native has been hired to work at Fox 61 TV as a reporter.
"It has been a lifelong dream of mine to work as a reporter in my home state and today that dream came true!" Afonso said.
She had previously worked at @WWLP22News in Massachusetts serving as an anchor for the NBC affiliate in Springfield, Mass. She also hosted a public affairs show there too. She is a Central Connecticut State University graduate.
