
CHESHIRE, CT — Two people were hospitalized following a structure fire at a Cheshire home late Wednesday night, according to multiple reports. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately known.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports firefighters responded to the fire on Harrison Road at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The house sustained severe fire and smoke damage. (To sign up for Cheshire breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Arriving firefighters found a fully involved blaze with fire on both the first and second floors and smoke coming from the entire structure, according to the New Haven Register.

Crews extinguished the fire in about 45 minutes. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
