Vote for her record, not her zip code

VOTE FOR RECORD NOT FOR ZIP CODE

I have a hard time understanding why someone would vote for a candidate just because they are a resident of their town. Vickie Nardello lives in Prospect. The fact that she lives in our town does not mean she is the best choice.

Below is a small sample of how Vickie’s voting record does not make her the better candidate. More importantly, her record and values do not accurately represent the town of Prospect.

Vickie Nardello voted for Governor Malloy’s huge tax hike in 2011,the largest in CT history.

Vickie Nardello also voted to increase the state sales tax, eliminate the property tax exemption and voted for new taxes on nonprescription drugs, haircuts, and clothing and footwear under $50.

Vickie Nardello also voted against capping the gas tax.

Vickie Nardello voted to repeal the death penalty against the overwhelming will of her constituents and voted against amendments that would have preserved the death penalty for cop killers, rapists, terrorists, and home invasions.

Vickie Nardello voted in favor of Gov. Malloy‘s early release program that lets violent offenders out of prison early.

Vickie Nardello voted to give tuition discounts to illegal aliens.

Please vote wisely on November 6th.
