The Courage to Speak® Foundation is offering a training opportunity for new facilitators to teach Courage to Speak -Courageous Parenting 101®. The training is for professionalswho work with families in youth serving organizations, including school counselors, health teachers, social workers, substance abuse experts, law enforcement and drug prevention coalition leaders. It takes place on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 at10:00am at the Connecticut Clearinghouse, 334 Farmington Ave, Plainville, CT. Lunch will be served. The Foundation will train applicants to teach Courage to Speak – Courageous Parenting 101® to parents in their communities. The Courage to Speak – Courageous Parenting 101® is now available to be delivered in English or Spanish. To date we have trainedover 100 facilitators to teach the program to parents in CT, NY, RI, MI and MA. See links for more information and application.
