Whole Foods Could Be Coming To Cheshire: Report
A Whole Foods Market grocery store is expected to anchor a new mixed-use development in Cheshire, according to a report.

CHESHIRE, CT — A Whole Foods Market grocery store could be coming to Cheshire as the retail anchor of the Stone Bridge Crossing mixed-use development project, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reported Eastpointe LLC, the developer of the 300-unit apartment complex that will be known as Riverpointe, in online marketing referred to the Stone Bridge Crossing retail component as “adjacent to a Whole Foods-anchored retail center.”
An official with Eastpointe told the Register the identity of the grocery store was not yet official.

The online listing now refers to the retail component as being “adjacent to a grocer-anchored retail center.”

“Riverpointe will consist of 300 units within 10, 3-story and 4-story elevator apartment buildings. The 9-unit mix features studios, one-bedroom residences (with option for a den), two-bedroom residences, and three-bedroom residences. The Project will be completed with premier unit and common area finishes and a robust amenity program. Riverpointe is located within the Cheshire’s master planned Stonebridge Crossing mixed-use development. It is adjacent to a grocer-anchored retail center and a Hilton Comfort Suites Hotel.”
