William Sanders Wins Cheshire Half Marathon; Kate Pallardy First for Women
A total of 3,000 turned out for the Cheshire Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Run – see the complete results from the weekend road race.

Skies were clear with the sun shining bright and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s over the weekend, setting the stage for an amazing run during the 2013 Cheshire Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Fun Run at Cheshire High School.
And competitor William Sanders, 26, took full advantage in outlasting 32-year-old Brian Nelson with a time of 1:10:51 to earn bragging rights as winner of the half marathon. Kate Pallady, the first to register for the race, came in eighth overall and finished with a time of 1:19:47 and earned rights as the top female competitor.
The event, hosted by Naugatuck Savings Bank, also saw strong finishes from other competitors including Nick Dalidowitz, winner of the 5K; 7-year-old Matthew Jeffrey, winner of the Kids Half Mile Fun Run; and 6-year-old Sean Grevelding, winner of the Quarter Mile Kids Fun Run.
