Worker Tests Positive For Coronavirus At Cheshire School: Report
Highland Elementary School was closed for a distance learning day Thursday after a worker tested positive for the coronavirus.
CHESHIRE, CT — A worker at Highland Elementary School in Cheshire has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the worker, described as a “day porter,” is an outside contractor and isn’t directly employed by the district.
Highland was closed for a distance learning day on Thursday to ensure the worker wasn’t in close contact with anyone in the school for three days, according to the Record-Journal.
