Yard Debris Drop-Off Begins Next Week In Cheshire

CHESHIRE, CT — The town will be opening the former transfer station at 1304 Waterbury Rd. (Route 70) for Cheshire residents to drop off organic yard debris at no charge. Grass clippings, leaves and brush can be dropped off at the facility from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24 and again from July 27 to July 31.

No logs or stumps will be accepted and no contractors or landscapes will be allowed, according to officials.

Proof of residency may be required.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, participants must off-load their own vehicles.
