2 People Found Dead Inside Essex Home: Report
State Police made the discovery Tuesday afternoon.

ESSEX, CT — Connecticut State Police are investigating the death of two people who were found inside a house in Essex on Tuesday, according to media reports. Police responded to the house on Prospect Street around 1:30 p.m., NBC Connecticut reports.
The cause of death is under investigation. Police say there is no threat to the public. Fox 61 said the troopers arrived at the house Tuesday to perform a "well-being check." An autopsy is being scheduled.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released. Essex is a small town with a population around 6,500 residents and is located in Middlesex County.
