3 Dead, Dozens Test Positive For Coronavirus At CT Nursing Home

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — Three residents have died and dozens of residents and staff have tested positive for the coronavirus at the Gladeview Health Care & Rehabilitation facility in Old Saybrook, NBC Connecticut reports.

As of this week, 62 residents have tested positive and three have died due to the virus, NBC CT reports. Nine residents are currently in the hospital. Additionally, 38 staffers are quarantining after testing positive.

Officials told NBC CT that up until recently the facility hasn't had a resident test positive for the coronavirus and that they are working closely with state officials.
