The 4th of July is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate our independence than with fireworks and parades!
The Madison Exchange Independence Day Parade will be celebrating 35 years of 4th of July celebrations at 11 am this Independence Day. The parade will be going from the Stop & Shop parking lot at 128 Samson Rock Dr, to the Madison Surf Club, where fireworks will also be held later in the evening.
If you missed out on the Branford fireworks you can still catch Madison’s display this 4th of July at 9:30 pm. The fireworks can be seen from basically any waterfront area in Madison, but the main viewing locations on land will be at the Surf Club, along with West Wharf and East Wharf Beach. If given the opportunity, you are allowed to go out and view the fireworks by sea. At a safe distance, it is okay to anchor down and enjoy the spectacle just outside the launching site.
